Both. Most certification training courses are offered online or via textbook. Some courses may require in-person participation. Discuss options with Josh Frantz.

Both. In-person training is instructor-led. Some online courses are also instructor-led but may also be self-taught.

Josh Frantz has many textbooks available for employee use. Textbooks are often shared, but arrangements can be made to purchase additional materials as needed. If you have completed training, please return your textbook.

Some exams are taken online with a proctor, while some may be taken in person at a testing site. Sometimes exams are offered online via the vendor site without proctor.

Some exams are taken in-person at a testing center. Others are taken remotely with a proctor. Please review the Pearson Testing Center website for details or reach out to Josh Frantz for assistance.

Yes. Proctored exams are monitored and require zero interruptions (noise, other people, etc.). Web cam is required and you will be required to prove you’re alone in the exam room. You can make arrangements to take a proctored exam at our DCTS office locations. Please make arrangements ahead of time to ensure the testing area is prepared, accessible, and quiet. Interruptions will result in an automatic fail.
